Oasis Innovation TSA is registered with NCTL as an ‘Appropriate Body’ for NQT provision.

The appointment of an Appropriate Body is a statutory requirement for the induction period of NQTs and the Appropriate Body makes the final decision as to whether an NQT has met the Teachers’ Standards on the recommendation of the Headteacher.

It is the responsibility of schools to ensure that they commit appropriate resources to the induction of newly qualified teachers. It is the responsibility of the Appropriate Body to ensure the quality of this induction provision.

As the Appropriate Body our service includes:

  • the administration of NQT forms
  • registration of your NQTs with NCTL
  • information for your NQT co-ordinators
  • a named contact for NQTs
  • quality assurance of your school’s support & monitoring of NQTs.

Please note we also offer an NQT training programme, but this service is separate from our role as an Appropriate Body.
